Little Mook is a cute little boy who lost his parents and that’s why he is looking for what he lacks in life – love and beauty.

The secret of the flying slippers and the power of the magic wand, which he finds in the wardrobe of his evil mistress, give him new opportunities – to escape from it and try his luck around the world. And he really succeeds – he gets a job in the royal palace.

There he enjoys the favor of the king and princess Amarza, who entertains with his songs and dances. But he incurs the wrath, hatred, and jealousy of the king’s counselor because he hinders his great ambitions. Unjustly accused by him, Little Mook was banished from the kingdom.

Having lost everything, he realizes that neither money nor any magical powers can make a person happy. Only tolerance and humanity can bring warmth between people. And in this world, everything has its place, and sometimes even the smallest things matter.

A tale that tells us that only he who has a golden soul is truly rich.

The story tells us how, in love with the arrogant princess, King Drozdobrad manages, disguised as a beggar, to lead her on the difficult path of extreme poverty.

Proving to her that she is incapable of doing anything, and that she herself is worthy of ridicule, he breaks her pride, makes her look inward.

Discovering her mistakes, the princess will try to overcome them and will really deserve his love and become his wife.

This tale is another example of the genius of the folk artist, who always discovers and recreates in fairy tales the eternal human problems.
