Vanessa Hristova performs internationally and has appeared at the Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin and Bulgaria Hall. Recently she received the special prize at the International Music Competition Dobrich, second prize at the King’s Peak Competition and third prize at the North London Competition. She has performed in festivals including Festival Academy Budapest, Varna Summer International Music Festival and was recently invited to the Encuentro de Santander. As a soloist she has performed with numerous orchestras and regularly has recitals around Europe. She has collaborated with conductors such as Vladimir Jurowski and Maxim Vengerov, performing as Principal Violist of all the Royal College of Music Orchestras amongst others. In 2020 she was selected for the English National Opera Evolve Scheme, in 2022-23 she was nominated for the London Symphony Orchestra Strings Experience and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe Academy. Last year she recorded a CD in Abbey Road Studios as a lead viola of the LGT Young Soloists. She has also recorded for the Bulgarian National Radio. She is part of the award-winning Adeos Duo, mentored by the Marmen Quartet and Maxim Rysanov. The Duo was recently invited to give a recital at the Sofia Music Weeks International Festival.Vanessa has had the pleasure of learning from Alexander Zemtsov, Wilfred Strehle, Máté Szücs and Guy Braunstein. She attended the IMS Prussia Cove in the class of Lars Anders Tomter and was selected for the Stauffer Viola Masterclass with Lawrence Power. Vanessa is studying at the Royal College of Music as an Elsie Gertrude Martin Scholar with Nathan Braude. She is a prize winner of the RCM Viola Competition and is generously supported by the Kathleen Trust.

Pianist Lily Petrova was born in Inverness, Scotland in 2003 and is from Bulgarian origin. When she was 9, Lily was accepted to study at The Purcell School for Young Musicians under the Music and Dance Scheme. In September 2021, she began her studies at the Royal Academy of Music with Professor Tatiana Sarkissova. She has participated in courses with Bernd Goetzke and Ludmil Angelov. She has performed in various venues around England including Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall and St Martins in the Fields.Outside of the Uk, Lily has performed in various venues across Italy, Germany and Bulgaria including “Bulgaria Hall” in Sofia.She has performed with the Purcell School Symphony Orchestra and the Brighton Youth Orchestra after being awarded first prize at the Springboard concerto competition.Some other success include sveral prizes at the North London Music Festival, 1st prize at the Grand Prix Virtuoso in Rome, 3rd prize at the Pietro Argento Competition and category winner at the Rickmansworth Young Musician of the year. Alongside her solo playing, Lily is an avid chamber musician. Some of her chamber coaches include Adrian Brendel, Nathan Braude, William Fong and Nicol Eimer.
