Biographies:

Inspirity Quintet:

Inspirity is an innovative and dynamic group of musicians and other performing artists who experiment with and explore different types of music, and arts, whilst combining them in various original ways to provide a unique style of performance.

The clarinet quintet was formed in 2008 as a result of a long term friendship. Each of the members of Inspirity have lived and studied in London either at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama or Trinity College of Music, whilst regularly performing as both solo artists or as chamber musicians.

Daniela Ivanova-Dimova:

Daniela Ivanova-Dimova graduated opera singing at the “Pantcho Vladigerov” Music Academy – Sofia in 1990, in the class of Prof. Resa Koleva. In 1991 she specialised at the “Boris Hristov” Academy of Arts – Rome, and in 1993 in the opera singing class of Prof. Margarita Lilova. In 1998 she studied Italian bel canto under Prof. Ida Farina in Milan, Italy.

In 1990 she made her debut on the stage of the Rousse Opera Theatre, and from 1991 to 2009 she was a soloist of the Varna Opera. In December 2009, after winning a competition, she assumed the post of director of the Opera and Philharmonic Society – Varna.

The artistic resume of Daniela Ivanova-Dimova includes over 25 solo soprano parts from operas by Purcell, Mozart, Donizetti, Verdi, Bizet, Puccini, J. Strauss, etc., as well as an extensive repertoire from cantatas, oratorios, chamber pieces and solo songs by Bach, Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Mozart, Schubert, Rossini, Verdi, R. Strauss, Schoenberg, Carl Orff, B. Britten, etc.

The singer has been partnered on the stage by names such as Ghena Dimitrova, Vesselina Katsarova, Luis Lima. She has sung under the baton of Bulgarian conductors such as Rouslan Raichev, Mihail Angelov, Vassil Kazandzhiev, Yordan Dafov, Ivan Filev, Milen Nachev, Borislav Ivanov, Hristo Ignatov, Stanislav Ushev, as well as Nello Santi, Roland Seifert, Daniel Inbal, Markus Huber, etc.
