He has been accepted as a permanently appointed soloist at the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, which many musicians have worked with during the years, such as Svyatoslav Richter, Yuri Bashmet, David Oistrakh, Mstislav Rostropovich etc, thus marking one of the highest peaks in the world of the performing arts. It was the first time ever, in the history of the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, that a foreigner had been accepted as a soloist.

Vesselina Tchakarova (piano)
Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, her first public recital was at the age of twelve, and only a year later, she won 3rd prize at the Stresa International Piano Competition. In 1995 she was the winner of the Union of French Musicians and Artists Competition. After these achievements, she performed extensively throughout Greece and Bulgaria. In 1999, Vesselina came to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She made a debut CD recording of Bulgarian music in 2006. She has appeared on BBC Radio 4 in the UK and on live television in Bulgaria, as well as having performed at Wigmore Hall and St. John Smith Square. Her recent solo performances have taken her to Moscow’s International Festival Spring in Russia.
