The Bulgarian Cultural Institute London warmly welcomes you to a concert by Calathea Trio.

The Calathea Trio members Dessy (flute), Mari (violin) and Szymon (cello) meet in London as session musicians at the London Film Music Orchestra. They dedicate the Calathea Trio to their love for chamber music and draw attention to the ensemble’s distinctive and vibrant sound.

In this concert, Calathea Trio presents two of Joseph Haydn’s most celebrated London Trios and masterpieces by the impressionist Claude Debussy. The programme culminates with the premiere of Divertimento for flute, violin and cello by the renowned Belgian composer Wilfried Westerlinck written for Calathea Trio.

The concert is free of charge and welcomes everyone with a drink reception from 6.15 pm. The most generous of the guests can make donations to the musicians at the place or online.
