Presenting the Bulgarian writer Dimana Trankova and her new book The Empty Cave.

Dimana Trankova is an archaeologist by education and a journalist by vocation. She is the editor of the only English language monthly magazine in Bulgaria – Vagabond and author of several non-fiction books. In 2014, she published her first novel – the archaeological thriller The smile of the dog, which will also be published in French in 2017.

She will be presenting her latest book – The Empty Cave, published in Bulgaria this year. The novel addresses the contemporary issues of personal freedom as against public security and examines the consequences of the choices people make.
