The Bulgarian Cultural Institute London has the pleasure to invite you to the “20×4” anniversary evening with poetry and music of the famous Bulgarian poet, playwright, producer, translator and author of texts for songs Nedyalko Yordanov Tender poetry and music on the 8-th of March 2020 at 7pm. at Gallery Sofia.

Music accompaniment to the poetry of the author: Rosica Ruseva (saxophone) and Georgi Stoev (piano)

A special greeting for all the ladies on the occasion of the Women’s Day: Rosica Ruseva is going to sing songs from the musical comedy Two women without counting the man (author of the text and director of the musical comedy: Nedyalko Yordanov, music: Haigashot Agasyan). 

Nedyalko Yordanov  is a Bulgarian poet, playwright, and publicist, holder of the Bulgarian award “The Golden Orpheus” (1997) for his whole creative work. He was born 18 January 1940 in Burgas, Bulgaria. He is the author of 90 books of poetry, fiction, memories and publicism. The author of 24 plays shown in many countries in Europe and Japan. He is the director of more than 70 theatre plays, TV-films and serials. He graduated from high school in his hometown Burgas. In 1962 he graduated with a degree in Bulgarian philology from the St. Clement of Ohrid Sofia University. Between 1962 and 1963 he worked as a teacher in Malko Tarnovo. Later, from 1963 to 1983 he was a playwright in the Burgas Drama Theatre. For the period 1980-1988 he was the main editor of the almanac Sea. During 1990 he became a playwright for the Theatre Vazrazhdane in Sofia. He began publishing in 1954 in the newspaper Black Sea Front, Burgas. He is actively cooperating with the daily press. He translates poetry from Russian and Turkish. His works are translated into Russian, Polish, German and many other languages.

He is the author of many poetry collections among which are: We are going to feel this all (1963), When we become fathers (1965), Lyrics (1973), Youth is going away (1977), Love lyrics (1958; 1978; 1979), Poems (1983), We are getting slowly older (1991), Love, don’t get old (1991). He is also the author of a number of texts for theatre plays and songs. He is the author of a text in poems of a novel for children. He has recently published a number of books at the Janet-45 Publishing among among which are: I am going to make you fall in love with me. Poems. (2001), Old-fashioned poetry (2002), The story of a love (2002) and other.

One of the best top 10 bards of Europe in the edition of the Czech television who has performed his songs on author’s concerts and recitals in Bulgaria and all over the world.

Rosica Ruseva has absolved the High school of music and the prestigious high school Lilyana Dimitrova in Plovdiv and the University of Arts and Theatre in Sofia. She has worked as an actress at the The Drama Theatre in Plovdiv where has been a leading actress for 14 years. After the coming of the Democracy in Bulgaria is leaving the country and is working together with Georgi Stoev as a singer, saxophonist and a conductor of amusing programs. She has been conducting for 13 years already the authors programs Weekend with Rosi and Every day with Rosi at the Chanel 3 in Bulgaria. She is the author of 2 novels and 5 plays. At the moment she is playing roles in the comedy musical of Nedyalko Yordanov Two women without counting the man and the author’s musical comedy Impossible love of Dido Machev. 

Georgi Stoev has absolved High school of Music and after that has worked as a main musicologist at the Music Direction in Plovdiv. He has performed for 10 years abroad together with Rosica Ruseva. From the year of 2010 is a director of the National Agency of Music in Sofia. More than 13 years is a producer of the TV-programs Weekend with Rosi and Every day with Rosi at the Chanel 3. At the moment is performing at live the musical arrangement and accompaniment of the songs in the comedy musical of Nedyalko Yordanov Two women without counting the man. He is the author of the music in the musical comedy Impossible love of Rosi Ruseva and is singing and playing at live.
