Online exhibition and interview from the studio of the artist Mihail Lalov

Dear friends,

On April 29, 2021, from 6 pm GMT, we are pleased to present you an online exhibition and an exclusive interview from the artist’s studio:

Mihail Lalov

In fact, how many can swear that they always do what they want, what they believe in, following unwaveringly their innermost creative and life credo? How many are the “princes of the spirit”, able to throw away at least for a moment the accumulated “comfortable” prestige, to rush in a completely new direction, to experiment, conquering new spaces with technique, form and thought?

Among the few selected is undoubtedly the artist Mihail Lalov.

Brilliant colorist, decorative and theatrical, eccentric and gentle, expressive and romantic, he models his unique alloy of suggestions under the sign of the total message – Everything is love! The unadulterated pearls of life, covered by the patina of the workday, buried in the mire of the petty, the transient, suffocated by malice and indifference, stumbled by the care of the subsistence, trampled by greed and reckless compromises…

We need them so much today, when great feelings are replaced by calculating passions, when love is the object of sale, when total consumerism lightly erases the most ancient human feeling! The artist purifies them in the paintings, he comes to resurrect them.

Mihail Lalov attacks the spaces where the spirit hovers freely, where sad divine creatures rule, inhabiting a boundless mythology of love. They are wonderful – captivated only by something else, forgetting the worries of the day, immersed in the enchantment of a longed-for candle, where the gesture is a caress, and the words – the magic of love.-
