The creative Panevi family will present to the public in Sofia Gallery 35 of their works. For years the family lives and works in Veliko Tarnovo, where they have their own family gallery. The exhibition will showcase paintings of the great Bulgarian artist and honorary academician of the Russian State Academy of Arts, Hristo Panev, associated with the best samples of Bulgarian fine arts and exquisite drawings.

Academic Hristo Panev and his brother Pancho Panev are the largest donors of monumental panels in Bulgaria. For the past 25 years they have donated to their native place, the village of Krepost, Dimitrovgrad municipality, 46 monumental works, turning the village into the only outdoors gallery in Bulgaria. For their donation, they have been nominated for the prestigious European prize “Europa Nostra”. The award is ranked as one of the most prestigious in the field of European cultural heritage. Panevi brothers are honorary citizens of Dimitrovgrad and the village of Krepost is a candidate in the Guinness Book of Records for most monumental works in a small village.

This exhibition will also showcase the rich palette of modern, abstract and symbolic art by Gabriel Panev, the magnificent landscapes of Veliko Tarnovo by Ivanichka Paneva and the beauty of the Bulgarian woman in her portraits. You will see exquisite original jewelry decorated Petya Paneva and her modern, unconventional watercolors.
